Specialists from the College of Tokyo and the College of Western Australia found the fish swimming at a profundity of 8,336 meters in the Pacific Sea south of Japan and caught it on camera.
After this snailfish was recorded, researchers found two more snailfish of the Pseudoliparis belyaevi species at a profundity of 8,22 meters.
Researchers said that this is the main fish that has been found at a profundity of in excess of 8 thousand meters.
